The Red Bull is the central antagonist of the novel, The Last Unicorn and its film adaptation. It was in the service of King Haggard and helped capture any unicorn for his master. However, Amalthea ended up saving the unicorns after fighting back when she saw the bull kill Lir. Unlike the other unicorns, Amalthea was capable of love and seeing her beloved price hurt, motivating her into defeating him.
