Ratchet is a major character in the Transformers film series. He is one of the original trilogy, and a minor character in Transformers: Age of Extinction. On Optimus Prime's team, Ratchet was the chief medical officer of the Autobots who relied on him to heal the injured. However, when he does fight, Ratchet used his medical tools to fight them.
