Rapunzel is the secondary antagonist in Shrek the Third. She used to be one of Princess Fiona's friends until she revealed herself to be in on Charming's schemes and as his girlfriend.
Rapunzels Tower is seen as Shrek and Fiona ride pass it.

Despite being a villain, Rapunzel was depicted in some posters as being with Fiona and the other princesses in their fighting poses. This may have been done to hide the fact that Rapunzel was actually a villain or may be an indicator that an early version of the film had Rapunzel as one of the heroes.
Rapunzel, alongside Prince Charming, are the only antagonists in Shrek the Third to not be redeemed at the end of the film. This is rather ironic, seeing how they are both good in their source material while the other villains who were bad in their source material turned good.
