Trivia[]
- Rain's feather is symbolic, as it shows her ties to the Lakota people and Little Creek. When Little Creek removes the feather, it symbolizes how she is free to be with Spirit.
- Rain's "death" is similar to Trusty from Lady and the Tramp. Both of them are horribly injured (Rain from a Bullet wound trying to save Little Creek and Trusty from a carriage landing on him while trying to save Tramp) and it's left ambiguous whether they survived or not until the end. (In the epilogue scene for Lady and the Tramp, Trusty is merely injured with a broken front leg and Rain is healed from her wound.
- Rain didn't appear in Spirit: Riding Free.
- She is the first love interest to be the tritagonist as Bala, Tzipporah, Chel, Rocky and Fiona were all the deuteragonists of their respective films
