Quetzalcoatlus (meaning "feathered serpentc) is an extinct genus of large azhdarchid pterosaur from the Late Cretaceous of North America. The type species is Quetzalcoatlus northropi.It is featured in many TV series and video games.

The Quetzalcoatlus was discovered in Texas in 1971 by geology graduate student Douglas A. Lawson. The genus name refers to the Aztec feathered serpent god, Quetzalcōātl. The specific name honors John Knudsen Northrop.
The remains of a second species were found between 1972 and 1974, also by Lawson, around 40 km (25 mi) from the type of Q. northropi. In 2021, these remains were assigned the name Quetzalcoatlus lawsoni by Brian Andres and (posthumously) Wann Langston Jr.

- Quetzalcoatlus was the star of the 1986 IMAX movie On the Wing where a half-sized robot version engineered by AeroVironment demonstrated primitive flight.
- It appears in Walking with Dinosaurs: The 3D Movie.
- Quetzalcoatlus are minor antagonists in the 2010 animated film Dawn of the Dinosaurs (the third film in the Ice Age films. They were dangerous flying reptiles and one of the few surviving species of pterosaur that lived during the ice age in an underground world.
- A Quetzalcoatlus appeared in Jurassic World: Dominion.
- A Quetzalcoatlus appears briefly near the end of The Land Before Time VII: the Stone of Cold Fire.
