History[]
Background[]
Queenie Goldstein was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Goldstein and the sister to Porpentina (nicknamed Tina). The girls were left orphaned after their parents passed away due to dragon pox. This led Queenie and Tina to raise each other, allowing them to maintain a strong bond as adults. In her youth, Queenie attended Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where she was sorted into Pukwudgie.

Personality[]
Initially, Queenie is a free-spirited and caring individual, having a personality similar to Luna Lovegood, another blond-haired witch. She was very sympathetic towards those who were in pain. She only resorted to blackmailing to save a friend, which she did when she saved Jacob Kowalski from the Obliverator, Sam. She is also very responsible, given she and Tina had to practically raise each other
In the sequel, The Crimes of Grindelwald, she desperately wants to be with her no-Maj lover, Jacob but is unable to because of Rappaport's Law, a law that prohibits witches and wizards associating themselves with No-Majs. This has driven her to join Grindelwald's cause, despite Jacob refusing to join her.
However, despite at least five years of separation Queenie's love for Jacob never faded and made her realize the error of her ways. Without Grindelwald, Queenie reverted back into the caring and free spirited person she once was.

It is possible that this is why she was unable to read the mind of Gellert Grindelwald; it is also possible that she was unable to read his mind because he is skilled in Occlumen, which is the art of shielding against mind intrusions.
- Wandless Magic: Queenie is talented in non-verbal and wandless magic, as she was able to do legilimency without the incantation and was also able to transfigure her clothes into a dress when they entered the Blind Pig in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
- Defense Against the Dark Arts: Queenie is proficient in Defense Against the Dark Arts, even though it mostly involved making coffee or "unjinxing the john."
- Charms: Queenie could cast effective charms, especially when it came to cooking.
- Aberto: A spell that unlocks doors similar to the "Alohamora"charm. Queenie cast the charm to attempt to unlock Percival Graves' office. However, the spell failed, leading Queenie to surmise that Graves must have used an advanced charm on his doors.
