Queen Nehelenia was born in the dark depths of the Moon arriving from the same distant source as its Queen of light: Queen Serenity. When that Queen had a newborn daughter, the Silver Millennium held a celebration. Queen Nehelenia arrived as an uninvited guest from the Queen's mirror. Nehelenia came seeking balance between light and dark since they called to each other but Queen Serenity would not tolerate even a little darkness in her kingdom and sealed Nehelenia into her mirror. In retaliation, she cursed the Silver Millennium to fall and its Princess die before she can take the throne.
