Queen Aditi is one of the overarching characters of The Dragon Prince. She was a Sunfire Elf and a former queen of Lux Aurea. She was the mother of an unnamed daughter who was Janai's and her siblings' grandmother, the maternal grandmother of Janai's and her siblings' mother, and the great-grandmother of Khessa, Janai, and Karim, who refer to her as "grandmother". The circumstances of her disappearance are still unknown, but Aaravos whispered that he swallowed Aditi to Khessa before killing her.

According to Aaravos, Aditi was an arrogant woman, as Khessa reminded him of her grandmother in terms of personality.
However, to the elves and dragons, Aditi was a kind and benevolent ruler who was wise, noble and honorable. To further prove this, as the dragons fought for who should rule Xadia after Luna Tenebris' death, the other dragons looked to Aditi, showing they trusted her wisdom and judgement. She was beloved by her great-grandchildren, who called her "Grandmother" despite being three generations away from her. She also could see the dangers and potentials of the Moonshadow Elf, Kim'dael and bound her to the Mercy. She also made sure that only the monarch of Lux Aurea possesses the power to free Kim'dael to prevent her other descendants from releasing the Bloodmoon Huntress foolishly.
