Prometheus is one of the main antagonists in the DC Comics universe. He is primarily an enemy of the Justice League, especially Green Arrow (being responsible for the death of Oliver's four year old granddaughter Lian Harper), Batman due to their similar backstory and abilities, and Midnighter.

He has sworn to commit a life of crime and avenge the death of his criminal parents after they were shot and killed by police officers. These criminal acts have also caught the attention of the Justice League.
