Prodigy (David Alleyne)

Prodigy (real name David Alleyne) is a fictional superhero from Marvel Comics. He is a mutant with the ability to retain exponential amount of knowledge and mimic the knowledge possessed by others before being depowered on M-Day caused by the Scarlet Witch. However, David's powers were restored after his resurrection.

He is commonly associated with the X-Men, gaming beef a student at the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters. Prodigy has also been a member of the Champions, the New X-Men, the Young Avengers and the New Mutants. He is also the boyfriend of his former teammate Tommy Shepherd

Prodigy debuted in New Mutants (vol. 2) #4 (October 2003) And was created by Nunzio DeFilippis, Christina Weir and Keron Grant.

Prodigy is openly bisexual, having crushed on Hulkling. He is confirmed to be dating Speed instead
