Prince Naveen is the deuteragonist of Disney's 2009 animated feature film, The Princess and the Frog . He was the eldest prince of Maldaonia but was cut off from his parents so he could learn a sense of responsibility. While visiting New Orleans, Louisiana, he visits the Witch-doctor Facilier, who transforms him into a frog to steal an amount of fortune. The only way to break the spell is to kiss a princess and become human again.
Naveen is loosely based on the nameless titular character from the classic fairy tale story "The Frog Prince".
