Prince/King Edward of Andalasia is the tritagonist of the 2007 film, Enchanted and a major character in the 2022 sequel. He is the pure, simple-minded and naive, but innocently narcissistic prince (later King) of Andalasia, the husband of Queen Nancy Tremaine and the stepson of Queen Narissa. After his ex-fiancée, Giselle ends up in New York City, Edward followed, where he learns to take a more appropriate and realistic approach to love and learns of his stepmom's treachery.
He was portrayed by James Marsden, who also Cyclops in the X-Men Series, Fred O'Hare in Hop, and voices Diggs in Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, Tim Templeton in Boss Baby: Family Business and Hitch Trailblazer in My Little Pony: A New Generation, and Tom Wachowski from the Sonic Cinematic Universe
