Poppy is the main protagonist of the Trolls franchise. She is the daughter of King Peppy and the late unnamed queen, the longlost younger sister of Princess Viva and the girlfriend of Branch.

She is a cheerful, optimistic young princess who goes on a quest to save her people and goes on a quest with Branch, a troll who lost his cheerfulness a long time ago. Over the course of the film, they fall in love in a musical journey.
