The Pevensie family is one of the main heroic factions in the Chronicles of Narnia series. They are the main protagonists of the first three novels The Lion, the Witch, and the wardrobe, Prince Caspian, and Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe[]
During World War II, Mr. Pevensie had left to fight on the warfront whole Helen did some form of work. During the Blitzkrieg, Helen was forced to send their children away to the countryside to stay with Professor Kirke. The youngest of her siblings, Lucy discovered the World of Narnia while she was hiding in Professor Kirke's wardrobe upstairs. There she befriended Mr. Tumnus, who attempted to turn her over to the White witch. However, touched by the girl's kindness, Tumnus refused to do harm to her and helped her return home. Even though Lucy tried convincing Peter, Susan and Edmund, but nobody believed her.
In the middle of the night, Lucy returned to Narnia and joined Mr. Tumnus for tea again. Meanwhile, Edmund later followed her into the wardrobe and saw his sister was telling the truth. However, he was unfortunate to stumble upon Jadis the White Witch, who deceived him.
