Queen Persephone is an important Greek mythological figure, being the main protagonist of the story "The Rape of Persephone". She is the Queen of the underworld, goddess of springtime and the daughter of Zeus and Demeter.
She is most famous for the story "The Rape of Persephone" when Hades abducted her and she was tricked into eating six seeds of a pomegranate. This made her live on Earth for six months with her mother and live in the Underworld for the other six months. She also had a rivalry with her half-sister Aphrodite, in terms of fighting for Adonis' attention.
