Percy Weasley is a character in the Harry Potter franchise. He was the third-eldest child and son of Arthur and Molly Weasley, ,brother of Bill, Charlie, Fred, George, Ron and Ginny, husband of Audrey and father of Lucy and Molly Weasley.

Percy Weasley was born to Molly and Arthur Weasley on August 22, 1976, as the 3rd of seven children. He was still a small child during the First Wizarding War, in which his maternal uncles, Gideon and Fabian Prewitt were killed. On 31 October 1981, Lord Voldemort was defeated by the infant Harry Potter thus temporarily bringing peace. Percy and his family. He and his siblings, Bill, Charlie, Fred, George, Ron, and Ginny grew up in the borough on the outskirts of Ottery St Catchpole. They were all homeschooled by their mother. Despite their family being poor, Molly and Arthur tried to make it up with their love.
When Percy turned eleven, he began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he was sorted into Gryffindor. He shared a dormitory with Oliver Wood and kept his pet rat Scabbers with him. Unknown to Percy at the time, the pet rat was an Animagus, Peter Pettigrew.

Under the reformed Ministry and Minister for Magic Kingsley Shacklebolt, Percy eventually became the Head of the Department of Magical Transportation. He later married a woman named Audrey and had two daughters with her: Molly and Lucy.
During 2014, Percy and his family attended the Quidditch World Cup. Rita Skeeter noted that Percy looked reasonably well since the Battle of Hogwart.
