Peli Motto is a major character in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.

She managed Hangar 3-5 at Mos Eisley spaceport on the planet Tatooine and is a skilled engineer and made her living repairing and refueling starships.

History

The Book of Boba Fett

While Peli was engaged in her work, she encountered difficulties and met Din Djarin, who arrived to inform her that she was associated with the Razor Crest. She introduced Din to the Naboo N-1 Starfighter and expressed her desire for him to test it. Consequently, she began repairing the starfighter alongside Din, and they sought assistance from the Jawas to acquire quality parts.

Once the N-1 was fully restored, Din took it for a test flight. During this flight, Peli encountered one of Din's old acquaintances, Fennec Shand, but chose not to disclose Din's whereabouts, ensuring he remained hidden in the hangar. After the test flight, she informed Din that Fennec was searching for him, and they both observed Fennec entering the hangar, prompting her to plan a reprogramming of her droid.

Later, when Din departed to assist Boba Fett, Peli reunited with Grogu, who was brought to Mos Eisley by R2-D2 in hopes of reaching Din. As they left Mos Espa, Peli and her droids found themselves amidst the conflict in Mos Espa, where she had to protect Mok Shaiz's Majordomo.

After helping Boba and Mando defeat Mos Espa’s crime family, Peli returned to Mos Eisley.

Personality

Peli is very passionate about droids and starships. She is also very loving, having a genuine friendship with the Mandalorian and having a soft spot for his adoptive son, Grogu, being a close thing to a mother figure Grogu has.

When worst comes to worst, when the mob boss families of Tatooine threaten Mos Espa, Peli and her droids join Boba Fett in fending them off.
