The Outlands is a barren wasteland featured in The Lion King franchise and identified as the lands beyond the borders of the Pride Lands. It is where those who have been exiled from the Pride Lands, such as Zira and the lions who l wereoyal to Scar were banished. However, they reformed after turning against their leader and were welcome to back into Simba's pride. It is where various creatures such as hyenas, vultures, jackals and skinks.
Timon's clan of meerkats lived near the Outlands before they moved into the jungle where he and Pumbaa resided.
