I would not discount Omega's insight. A state of heightened awareness is not unusual for an enhanced clone such as herself.
―Tech in regards of Omega

Omega is one of the two main protagonists of the Disney+ web television series Star Wars: The Bad Batch (alongside Hunter). She is a female clone of Jango Fett who was an enhanced clone who worked as a medical assistant to the Kaminoan Nala Se. She is now on the run with the titular team Clone Force 99.

Background[]

Omega was a child cloned from what was left of Jango Fett's genetic makeup on the plant Kamino, who was stayed on as Nala Se's medical assistant and was often told to stay close by. She never left Kamino prior to the series, and had to stay on the planet. Despite not having any combat skills, Omega was well-versed in combat, using an energy bow as a weapon and managing to shoot at Crosshair. She was also very knowledgeable and wise beyond her age, as she understood that Crosshair couldn't help but follow orders that the regular Clone Troopers were following and it wasn't his fault.

Personality[]

Appearance[]

Omega was a cloned human female from the same genetics group as the Bad Batch (Clone Force 99). Omega had blonde hair but sported brown eyes similar to them. Her hair was short, as well as short bangs that were usually pushed back when she wore a headband with a Kaminoan pendant that laid on her forehead. However, Omega discarded it after a while when she was on the first mission with Clone Force 99.

Trivia[]

  • Before it was officially confirmed that Omega was a clone of Jango Fett, several theories were thrown out:
    • She could be a clone Clone of Jango Fett's, however, this would mean she is the only clone that is female.
      • It's possible that Omega's DNA could have been accidentally altered the wrong way and instead of destroying her, the Kaminoans kept her as a medical assistant.
    • Some fans think that Omega was a Force-sensitive Clone because she could "feel" the pain that Crosshair was going through in "The Aftermath." Some
      • Some would go as far as to say she was one of the failed clones that Palpatine mentioned to have created in the novelization for The Rise of Skywalker.
  • Omega means "last;" fittingly enough, she was the last Clone to be created so far.
  • In the second episode, she discards her Kaminoan headband, symbolizing she no longer sides with the Kaminoans and reflects on her new comradery with the Bad Batch.
