Oliver is one of the major protagonists of the Elite Force Universe. He is, along with Kaz, one of the two protagonists of Mighty Med, a supporting protagonist in Lab Rats and one of the three tritagonists of Lab Rats: Elite Force. (alongside Kaz and Chase Davenport). Unbeknownst to him, his mom, Bridget, is none other than Mr. Terror, an evil supervillain who wants to become more powerful to rule the world. He is portrayed byJake Short.
History[]
Early Life[]
Oliver was born to woman named Bridget antonyms man who was a brain trauma researcher. Oliver's last name is unknown but some of his relatives include an unnamed sibling and the uncle of an unnamed boy. In preschool Oliver befriended another boy named Kaz. They grew up to becoming best friends and close as brothers due to their love of comics. However, Oliver's parents disproved of their relationship because her father believed him to be a bad influence and Oliver's mom always called him "that kid." Their friendship always comes first. While Kaz is the “accelerator,” Oliver is the “brake.” He's a bit superstitious and cautious, but will take risks when it is needed.
During his childhood, Oliver was unknowingly threatened by the supervillain Argento, Bridget's boss. Angered, Bridget killed her former employer to protect her son. Realizing her need for power to protect her son, Bridget took over his criminal empire, and began searching for a space rock called the Arcturian to gain super powers in order to rule the universe.
Because of his distant relationship with both of his parents, Oliver always spent time with Kaz, often hung out at the Domain, their favorite comic book store. His favorite superhero was Skylar Storm, who was a very powerful alien girl from the planet Caldera.
Working at Mighty Med[]
Discovering Heroes Exist[]
Oliver's superhero career began when they became the very first normo doctors to work at Mighty Med, a hospital used to treat injured superheroes. He finally met his favorite superhero Skylar Storm. Kaz and Oliver both convinced the head doctor, after Horace Diaz gave them a trial run. After Kaz removed a stop sign impaled in Tecton believing self healing would work. Kaz and Oliver realize that there must be a gold coin is blocking the meteorite in Tecton's chest and preventing the superhero from healing. Kaz pulls the coin out of Tecton's chest and the superhero finally begins healing, which finally gets Horace to gain his respect for both Kaz and Oliver. The boys and Skylar later assisted Tecton in defeating Megahertz, with swearing to help Skyler restore her powers as well. He developed a crush on her, but she liked him as a friend.
Powers and Abilities[]
Superhuman Physiology: Oliver's genes were super charged after making indirect contact with the Arcturian while he was holding Bridget's hand. This enhanced his physiology and granted him a variety of superpowers.
- Flight: Oliver has the ability to fly though the air at least 400 miles per hour. However, Oliver struggles to fly more than Kaz and has trouble sticking his landings.
- Hydrokinesis:Oliver's main ability was to create/control/manipulate water
- Super Strength: Oliver has become physically stronger than the average person. He is able to lift up heavy objects. At one point, Brianna thought that Oliver's super strength was going out of control when some of her possessions were being destroyed. However Skylar was blaming him the whole time so no one would know she was glitching.
- Cyrokinesis: Oliver can create/control/manipulate ice, as ice is merely water frozen.
- Cyclone Generation: The ability to create/control/manipulate cyclones. This is due to cyclones generally being born from water.
Temporary[]
- Embryonic Sac: When the superhero Arachnia was critically wounded by the bounty hunter and supervillain, Hunter Bounty, her embryonic sac latched onto Oliver, the next strongest individual nearby, choosing him as their "surrogate mother". The sac temporarily granted Oliver superpowers. After the children were both, Oliver lost the powers afterwards
- Enhanced Strength: When he had the embryonic sac, Oliver's strength was enhanced tenfold.
- Enhanced agility: Oliver's agility was strengthening during his time as the Arachnia. He was was able to walk up walls, as well as dodging some of the blasts sent his way by Hunter Bounty.
