Nyra is the secondary antagonist of the 2010 animated film Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, based on Guardians of Gahoole book series.

Nyra is just as cruel as her husband is. She even tried to kill Ezylryb and let her husband attack Soren despite him being a teenager. She also enjoys the cruelty inflicted on owlets, which means she is willing to have cruelty unleashed around children.

Nyra is full of rage when her mate is killed by Soren.
It's unknown if Surtr ever loved Nyra, but their relationship is the same thing Kludd and Nyra have in the books.

Nyra favores Kludd and is quite proud of his success. Kludd has a crush on her since he first saw her. She is married to him in the book series, where she and Kludd are deeply in love with each other.
Soren[]
Soren never liked her when he first met her. Nyra thought Soren has potential to be a Pure One. Hate each other because Nyra saw Soren kill her husband.
