Nova is a supporting character on ABC's Once Upon a Time. She is a fairy who was training to be a fairy godmother by the Blue Fairy and fell in love with Grumpy but their love was forbidden because dwarves can't fall in love and they were forced to break off their relationship.
After Regina cast the Dark Curse to punish Snow White and her allies, she becomes Sister Astrid, a nun who befriends Grumpy's real-world counterpart, Leroy. She débuts, with her only appearance, in the fourteenth episode of the first season and is portrayed by guest star Amy Acker.
