Norm Spellman is a supporting character in the 2009 sci-film Avatar and the 2022 sequel Avatar: The Way of Water. He is one of the newer recruits in the Avatar Program who was friends with Tom Sully after befriending Sully's brother, Jake.Following Dr. Grace Augustine's death, he became the new head of the Avatar program.
