Nori is the deuteragonist of the 2006 animated film Barbie Fairytopia: Mermaidia. An independent and rebellious young mermaid and best friend of Prince Nalu, she mistakes his friendship with Elina as a crush, hence her brashness towards strangers. However, Nori gradually befriends Elina throughout their journey, which only increases after saving each other in the Pit of Despair.

Nori has long dark blue hair that she usually keeps in a braid. She also has fair skin and blue eyes that match her hair. She also has on a blue choker decorated with stars. Nori also sports on a blue top and skirt, as well as a pink tail decorated with blue tattoos. After journeying into the pit of despair, Nori gains the Crest of Courage in the form of a blue tattoo on her right arm.
Powers and abilities[]
- Underwater Breathing: Due to being a mermaid, Nori is able to breathe under water without use of the magical seaweed. She can also breathe on land due to being part human as well.
