Nemeth is a kingdom featured in the BBC television series Merlin. It is ruled by King Rodor. His daughter Princess Mithian, who will succeed her father as Queen one day.

History[]

Series 4[]

For years this Kingdom and Camelot were at conflict with each other over a dispution over who controlled the areas in Geldrif. Arthur Pendragon resolved this dispute by announcing his engagement to Princess Mithian to unite their kingdoms together. She decided to come to Camelot to get to know her future husband. However, during a hunt with his knights and Mithian, Arthur found Gwen's engagement ring on the forest floor. Realizing he was still in love with Gwen, Arthur called off the engagement. He made amends with Mithian by withdrawing Camelot's claim on Gedref for Nemeth in an act of friendship. Mithian agreed and the two parted as friends. Due to this, Nemeth remained one of Camelot's allies.

Series 5[]

Three years later, The Kingdom was invaded by King Odin and his ally, Arthur's sister, Morgana and laid waste to Nemeth. The land was temporarily underneath King Odin's lands. However, after Odin and Arthur reached a truce, Odin withdrew his forces and Nemeth was theirs again.
