Na-kil Tano is a minor character in the Disney+ series Tales of the Jedi. He is the romantic partner of Pav-ti Tano and the father of Ahsoka Tano.

Background[]
Nak-il Tano was born on the planet Shili, living in a small village with his partner, Pav-ti. In 36 BBY, their daughter Ahsoka was born. Nak-il, excited by his daughter's birth announced to the village Ahsoka was born. The entire village appeared at the Tano residence, including the village elder Grantika. Pav-ti announced her daughter's name was Ahsoka.
When their daughter was barely a year old, they learned from the Village Elder Grantika that Ahsoka "was a Jedi" (Force-sensitive.
In 33 BBY, his daughter was discovered by Jedi Master Plo Koon, who helped thwart a Jedi imposter from taking Ahsoka. The Tanos were forced to part ways when Plo Koon took Ahsoka to be inducted into the Jedi Order.
As an adult, Ahsoka could not recall any memories of her parents, considering the Jedi to be her family. When Kaeden Larte asked about Ahsoka's (now named Ashla) upbringing, she said she had been adopted, not wanting Kaeden to know her secret identity as a Jedi.

- Na-kil is, chronologically the first person to nickname Ahsoka “Little Soka,” as it’s a nickname that Plo Koon used to show his affection for her.This is fitting enough because they are both Ahsoka’s father figures.
