Naboo is a planet in the Mid-Rim Territories and a major location in the Star Wars universe and the homeworld of Anakin Skywalker's wife, Padme Amidala and his in-laws, the Naberries and Jar Jar Binks. It is where the Trade Federation attempted to post a blockade around Naboo but ultimately failed when the command ship controlling the Battle Droids were destroyed by Anakin in The Phantom Menace.

Anakin and padmé come to hide on her home world to evade the bounty hunter trying to assassinate her.
Revenge of the Sith[]
Padmé mentions she is setting up the baby's nursery on Naboo, intending for her and Anakin to raise their children on her homeworld when the war is over. Unfortunately, the nursery is incomplete due to Padmé's passing after giving birth to twins Luke and Leia and Anakin's fall to the dark side of the Force. The planet is seen for Padmé's funeral, with her friends and family in attendance.

Naboo is seen in another cut of the film as one of the planets that are celebrating the end of the Galactic Empire and the beginning of the era in the new Galactic Republic.
