Trivia[]
- In the TV series, Myrcella is poisoned by Elia Sand in retaliation for the death of her father, Oberyn, and her aunt Elia Martell and her cousins, Aegon and Rhaenys Targaryen, since Myrcella's grandfather, Tywin Lannister ordered their deaths. However, Myrcella is still alive in the books, but it is currently unknown if she will be killed off like in the series. However George RR Martin hinted that a character from the books who died in the TV series would have a major role in future novels probably hinting that Myrcella may survive the series.
