History[]
At some point in her life, she joined the Emperor's army. However, many doubted that a woman like her could fight in battle until Mulan proved them wrong. She began hunting down a Yaoguai, a creature that has been terrorizing in her home empire. After tracking the creature for months, Mulan tried engaging it until she saw a young woman, Belle, trying to lure the Yaoguai out of hiding. Mulan saves her, but is angered that Belle ruined her chance at killing the beast.
Later, Mulan saves Belle from her former travelling companions after seeing them accost her. and the two women reach an agreement to find the Yaoguai because Mulan needs help find it. However, Mulan is too injured to stop the creature, and instead encourages Belle to defeat the beast. Belle defeats the creature by turning him back into his former self. Philip joins Mulan, eventually becoming companions and close friends.
As they journey to find Aurora, the two are frozen in time as Emma, her family and allies are sent to the world without magic and no happy endings via the Dark Curse. However, a small area is spared from the curse due to Cora's shield spell, merely freezing the remaining inhabitants for twenty-eight years.
