Mr. and Mrs. Flores

Two unnamed individuals are the biological parents of Kate Prescott, the maternal grandparents of Polly Prescott and the step-grandparents of Lucky Prescott.

Miss Flores grew up never knowing her parents and often had her wondering why they abandoned her. It is possible that they couldn't afford to take care of her.

Journeying to the orphanage where Kate grew up, Lucky retrieved an envelope with a picture of a couple holding an infant. Accepting Kate as part of her family, Lucky gave the envelope to her, giving her possible clues to her parentage.
