Hector Peabody, also simply known as Mr. Peabody, is the titular protagonist in the DreamWorks film, Mr. Peabody & Sherman. He is a multi-talented talking beagle that is the world's smartest being.

- In Rocky and Bullwinkle's "Saving Stamps Club" promos, it is revealed his first name is "Hector", an real, ethnic-sounding name.
- Mr. Peabody makes a cameo alongside Sherman in the Dawn of the Croods episode "It Crushes" in which he is seen as a cave painting in the "cave of secrets".
- Mr. Peabody (as well as Sherman) make a cameo in The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle episode "Moosebumps!" in which he is seen in the monster chase montage.
- His voice actor Ty Burrell is known for portraying Phil Dunphy from Modern Family, and coincidentally Ariel Winter who portrayed Phil's daughter Alex acted in the same film as the voice of Penny.
