Morgause is Morgana's maternal half-sister and a major antagonist in the BBC series Merlin. She is the main antagonist of the episode "Sins of the Father" and the secondary antagonist of Season 3. She is the reason Morgana had become evil. Morgause is a high priestess of the Old Religion who wishes to destroy Uther and Arthur Pendragon and put Morgana on the throne of Camelot.
