Mistletoe Berries are plants featured in th MTV series Teen Wolf. It is one of the many weaknesses of a werewolf, and similar to dogs.

Mistletoe is highly poisonous to werewolves and other Canine shapeshifters like werecoyote, most lifeforms on Earth, which includes Humans, mundane canine animals (such as dogs, coyotes, and foxes). They usually come in the forms of berries and can be used in two different varieties that have been seen on the show: both as a paste (as used by Dr Alan Deaton) and in powder (as used by Scott McCall/
If ingested, the Werecreature will immediately vomit mistletoe and black blood. It can even be used against Humans with supernatural powers such as Banshees and Druids to achieve certain effects.
As medical assistance for the McCall pack, both Melissa McCall and Deaton use mistletoe with them just in case they need to cure people.
History[]
- On 1764, both Henri and Marie-Jeanne laced wine with mistletoe berries, and served it at the inn. When he brother, Sebastien Valet, drank the laced wine, he began to cough and gasp before involuntarily shifting into his demonic Werewolf form. ("Maid of Gévaudan")
- The Darach (real name Jennifer Blake) used Mistletoe to poison several people:
- Poisoned the dog Bullet in order to get close to its owner, Kyle, to successfully capture him from the Beacon Hills Animal Clinic, which resides on a convergence of telluric currents that the Darach was manipulating with her sacrifice ritual. (
- Danny after seeing his paper on telluric currents in fear that he would discover her plans. Ethan Steiner, concerned for his boyfriend, rushed him to the hospital. Melissa McCall ended up saving his life, with assistance from her son Scott and Ethan.
- Fatally poisoned the concert pianist before using her as a sacrifice
- Successfully poisoned Cora Hale to manipulate her brother Derek Hale into helping her get revenge against the Alpha Pack.

Scott uses powder mistletoe against Jennifer Blake, revealing her mutilated appearance.
- Scott threw powdered Mistletoe in Jennifer's face in order to disrupt her glamor spell and show her true self to Derek Hale. He informed her, in disgust, "My boss, Deaton, told me it is a poison and a cure... Which means you can use it, and it can be used against you."
- In the Spring of 2012, Alan Deaton used a paste made of mistletoe to fill the trephination hole drilled into the Banshee Lydia Martin's skull by Gabriel Valack. This cured her of her ailment and returned her powers to normal.
