Miles Morales, also known as Spider-Man, is one the two titular main protagonists (alongside Peter Parker) of Insomniac's Spider-Man video game series.

He is the son of police officer Jefferson Davis and Rio Morales, the nephew of criminal Aaron Davis / The Prowler, and the boyfriend of Haley Cooper. He becomes one of the friends and protege of Peter Parker and became the second Spider-Man. After the loss of his father, Peter befriends Miles and introduces him to F.E.A.S.T., a non-profitable charity organization. After got bitten by a radioactive spider, he eventually gains spider-like powers himself. Miles reveals this to Peter, who also change is the secret that he is Miles' idol, Spider-Man.

When Peter was away on vacation, Miles was tasked with protecting New York City, but was unintentionally, dragged into a conflict between the Roxxon Corporation and the newly formed Underground gang, led by the Tinkerer.
