Sir Miles Axlerod is the main antagonist of the 2011 Disney/Pixar animated film, Cars 2. He is a criminal mastermind who wants to make alternate fuel look bad, although his schemes are later exposed in the end. He is also the arch-nemesis of Mater.

Personality[]
Miles is also a skilled manipulator, deceiving everyone into believing he was an electric vehicle. This is initially demonstrated at the party, where Axlerod had an oil leek and her it look lit it was Mater's own fault. Unfortunately for Axlerod, Mater was able to deduce the truth independently. He was never an electric car and also portrayed himself as an innocent vehicle, leading everyone to be misled until Mater revealed him as the liar he truly is. Mater substantiates this by tricking Axlerod into deactivating the bomb attached to his front hood, as unlike Professor Z and the Lemons, it can only be deactivated by the car that originally set it up (which was him). Axlerod only deactivated it to save his own life proving he only cared about himself.
