Captain Mick Scoresby is a major antagonist in the 2022 film Avatar: The Way of Water.
He is the Captain of the Sea Dragon and a Tulkun whaler who hunts the poor creature for its extract amrita, which can stop aging. This puts him at odds with his fellow crewmates, Ian Garvin, who is a part with Scoresby's methods. He is also the one responsible for the Tulkun Payakan missing his one fin and killing his mother, a group of other tulkuns and their spirit Na'vi, as well as his subsequent banishment from the Na'vi.
