Michelangelo is one of the three deuteragonists of the 2023 animated film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. He is the youngest of the turtles and the self-proclaimed funniest brother.

He is voiced by Shamon Brown Jr.

Personality

Mikey is the self-proclaimed funniest brother and goofiest due to being the youngest, but Splinter sees his youngest son has heart. He also dislikes being the one to act as Raphael's "target practice," especially when the target is a watermelon that is shaped like his head. He can also be immature, as Mikey, Donnie, and Raph laugh about April's condescending nickname "Puke Girl." Also, like Donnie and Raph, Mikey hates when Leo acts like a tattletale to Splinter and whenever New York City is threatened. Mikey also wants to be accepted by human society, which ends up happening when he, his brothers, April, and the Mutants are hailed as heroes. At the end of the film, Mikey enjoys high school life and takes up improv comedy.

Powers and Abilities

• Ninjutsu: Mikey and his brothers were trained in Ninjutsu after being taught by Splinter, who watched Jackie Chan movies and martial arts video tutorials. He fights with a pair of nunchakus

Trivia

• This is the first incarnation of Michelangelo to be voiced by actual teenagers instead of adults. Seth Rogen, the writer, and producer of the film, believed that the teenage aspect is forgotten.
