Mei lives in a small apartment in Shanghai, China with her daughter, Yi, her husband, and her mother, Nai Nai. However, when her husband passed away due to an unknown illness, Mei's daughter puts distance between herself and her family.
Personality[]
Mei is a warm, nurturing, and caring individual. She genuinely loves her daughter and is very patient with her as she knows that Yi is grieving over her father's death. Even though she did not like her daughter neglecting her, Mei was not upset with her as she understood that Yi was still grieving and tried to help with her daughter's healing process.
