Megatron is the main antagonist of the Transformers film series. He is the main antagonist of the first film, the secondary antagonist of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen , Transformers: Dark of the Moon , and Transformers: Age of Extinction and one of the two main antagonists of Transformers: The Last Knight (along with Quintessa )
Megatron is the ruthless leader of the Decepticons , the arch-enemy and twin brother of Optimus Prime , the former student/follower of The Fallen and Sentinel Prime .
In the first three films, he is voiced by Hugo Weaving, who portrayed the Red Skull in Captain America: The First Avenger . In the last two films, he is voiced by Frank Welker, who portrayed his G1 and Transformers Prime counterparts
