Maximilian "Max" Goof is the son of Goofy and one of the supporting characters in the Mickey Mouse franchise. He is also one of the two main protagonists of A Goofy Movie movie and the direct to video sequel An Extremely Goofy movie. In most of his appearances since his debut, Max usually is in the company of his father.
History [ ]
He first appeared in the 1951 short Fathers Are People , as Goofy Junior , and one of the main characters of the short films that focused on Goofy shorts of that era. His modern iteration, redesigned and renamed "Max Goof", first appeared in the 1992 animated TV series Goof Troop .
