Maurice (Madagascar)

Maurice is one of the main characters of the Madagascar franchise. He is one of the five tritagonists of The Penguins of Madagascar, the deuteragonist of All Hail King Julien and a major character All Hail King Julien: Exiled. He is King Julien XIII's best friend. Maurice is King Julien's adviser - although Julien seldom listens to him - and often shows skepticism of his ruler's mad plans. In the films, he was voiced by Cedric the Entertainer while Kevin Michael Richardson voices him in the two television series and its video game adaptation.
