Marzipan is a character in Barbie in the Nutcracker. She is the horse owned by Peppermint Girl and Gingerbread Boy who went with them to collect wood. By the time they got back, they found everything destroyed and everyone captured by the Mouse King's army.
History[]
Clara and The Nutcracker meet Marzipan at the ransacked gingerbread village. Her owners peppermint girl and gingerbread boy launch snowballs at them until Clara and Nutcracker show that they're friendly by giving Peppermint Girl her doll Patty back. As they pet Marzipan, Peppermint Girl and Gingerbread Boy explain that the Mouse Kings Army raided their village and took everyone. Gingerbread Boy proclaims that everything that has happened is Prince Eric's fault because he allowed the mouse King to take control of the throne after his father died.
The group rode in Marzipan's carriage but as they were spying on the Mouse King's men, two of the mice attempt to steal Marzipan but the horse manages to get away.
Later Marzipan helped to transport Clara, the Nutcracker, Captain Candy and Major Mint across the Sea of Storms to Sugar Plum Island after the Snow Fairies froze the ocean for them. Marzipan was not seen after Clara left her on the island when her other friends were captured. Marzipan is last seen eating grass on the field.
