Maria Posada-Sanchez is the wife of Manolo Sanchez and the deuteragonist of Reel FX Creative Studios and 20th Century Fox's 2014 animated film, The Book of Life.She is both Manolo Sánchez and Joaquín Mondragon's love interest but ultimately marries Manolo while Joaquin remains their best friend.
She is voiced by Zoe Saldana, who also portrayed Gamora in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
