Marella is a character in Guardians Of Ga'Hoole and the 2010 film adaptation of Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Gahoole. She is the wife of Noctus mother of Soren, Kludd and Eglantine, mother-in-law of Pellimore and Nyra, and grandmother of Coryn, Blythe, Sebastiana, and Bell.

The Capture[]
In the novel, Marella recently hatched a baby girl, named Eglantine. She and her family members were happy with the little owl, except for Marella's eldst son, Kludd.
One night, Marella and Noctus appear to their hollow, to find Soren gone. Giving strict instructions to Kludd to mind Eglantine, the parents left.
The Journey[]
In between The Capture and The Journey, Marella was murdered by presumably Kludd.
The Rescue[]
In The Rescue, Marella and Noctus appear to their son, Soren, and warn him of Metalbeak (Kludd in disguise).
The Burning[]
The scrooms of Noctus and Marella watch Soren and Eglantine before ascending to Glaumora, satisfied with their unfinished business.
