Mandalore is the capital of the Mandalorian Empire in the Outer Rim Territories. During the Clone Wars, Duchess Satine and her people remained neutral until Darth Maul and his brother took Mandalore, leading to the planet being put under siege by Ahsoka Tano and Bo-Katan Kryze in an attempt to overthrow Maul.
During the Imperial era, it was ruled by Gar Saxon and later, his brother Tiber.
Sabine Wren was born on the planet, but she always considered this and Krownest her homeworld.
