Malekith is a villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, débuting as the main antagonist of the 2013 film, Thor: The Dark World. Being the leader of the Dark Elves, Malekith wanted to use the Aether (fluid form of the Reality Stone) and plunge the Nine Realms into eternal darkness. However, he must obtain it from Jane Foster, who acts as the Stone's living host.
