Jackson Whittemore and Lydia Martin is one of the main relationships in the first two seasons of Teen Wolf.
History[]
Jackson and Lydia had been dating since before the start of the series and were seen by most students at Beacon Hills High School as the popular couple at the top of the school social ladder. However, when he discovered that Scott was a werewolf, Jackson wanted power himself and later broke up with her.
After she has been bitten by Peter Hale, Jackson was very concerned for her, showing deep down he still cared about her. However, when he saw, she didn't transform into a werewolf, Jackson's hot- temper got the better of him and he yelled at her in front of everyone at school, driving her to tears. However, Jackson showed remorse for what he did to her as soon as he started walking away. When Derek thought Lydia was the Kanima, Jackson joined Allison, Scott and Stiles to protect her from Derek and his pack. He grew angry with her yet again when he accused her of breaking into his house and tampering with his video footage whet he was unaware of what was happening to him due to apparently rejecting the bite that Derek gave him. However, he immediately took it back when he saw Lydia angry and ranting about her confusion as to why her friends were lying to her.
When Jackson started to become aware that he was being controlled by a Kanima Master who was also a classmate, he tried to distance himself from Lydia to protect her. Ultimately, it was Lydia's love for Jackson that allowed him to break from his Kanima state. He was later killed by Derek and Peter with his consent; but Jackson came back to life as a blue-eyed werewolf. He and Lydia embraced each other, and she admitted that she still loved him, apparently coming back together. Due to the significant amount of attention his deaths and resurrection caused in the town, Jackson and his family moved to London, England, causing Lydia and Jackson to end their relationship for good, though they seemed to do so on good terms.
In Season 6, Jackson and Lydia reunited for the first time in over a year when Jackson returned to Beacon Hills from London after he heard about Tamora Monroe and Gerard Argent's Hunter army going after supernatural creatures around the world. By the end of the first season both Jackson and Lydia were in different, romantic relationships. After learning her ex-boyfriend was in a romantic relationship with Ethan Steiner, Lydia was happy for Jackson especially since he finally figures out that he was bisexual, something she implied to have known her whole life
