Lydia is the main antagonist of Barbie's thirteenth full length animated film Barbie and the Diamond Castle. She is an evil enchantress who seeks out the magical Diamond Castle. However, is was hidden away with Melody, whose song is the only thing capable of revealing it.
She is an arch-enemy of Alexis, Liana, and Melody
Lydia is voiced by Kathleen Barr, who also voices Laverna in the Barbie Fairytopia franchise, and Queen Chrysalis and Trixie Lulamoon from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. (both of which all feature Kelly Sheridan).
Background
She was once a Muse who fell from grace and has a dangerous and magical flute she intended to use to destroy her former fellow Muses' other instead and became the sole Muse and keep the Diamond Castle for herself.
However she cannot access it because she does not have the key to it. Instead it is in the hands of Melody and is the song "Believe."
Lydia has a pet flying serpant named Slyder, who follows her every command. Ultimately, the two are defeated by Melody and her friends, Liana and Alexa

- Flute: When Lydia was a muse she had a double white flute. After visiting a sinister cave filled with dark magic, she transformed her magical flute into an instrument of darkness.
