Luug is the tritagonist of the animated series, 3Below and a supporting protagonist in Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans, the second and fourth installments of the Tales of Arcadia franchise. Luug is a dog from the planet Akiridion-5 and owned by Aja and Krel Tarron.

At some point, Aja gained Luug as a pet. Soon enough, Luug was adored by Aja's brother Krel and the royal family as a whole. She often took Luug with her whenever she ran away from home.

Sometime after the battle, Luug was with Aja, Krel and his friends as they activated Krel's portal so the Akiridions could return to Akiridion-5, Krel chose not to leave Earth, now calling it his home. Though Luug was sad by this, he was also happy to see Krel finally found where he belonged. Before Aja entered the portal, Luug rushed to her. She picked him up, and told Luug it was time to go home. Aja told Vex that she was planning on choosing a new title for herself when she returned. Luug and Aja take one last look to their friends before entering the portal.
Due to Luug and Aja being on their home world, they are not present when Krel assists their friends with the return of the Arcane Order.

- Akiridion Dog Physiology: As a dog-like alien, Luug has abilities stronger than that of an average pet.
- Enhanced Strength: Luug has shown some level of enhanced strength when he carried a refrigerator (which typical weigh around 300 pounds) up to a roof with ease.
- Laser/Torch Butt: He can fire blue laser-induced plasma and fart blue flames from his butt.
- Razor-Sharp Teeth: Luug has razor sharp teeth he uses to bite at his enemies.
- Prehensile Tongue: He has a long, sticky prehensile tongue he uses to catch some food, similar to that of a chameleon and gecko.
- 360-Degree Neck Rotation: As revealed in "Terra Incognita Part Two", Luug's head can spin in a complete 360-degree spin.

He Is a small canine with purple skin and has two antennas atop his heads and black eyeballs with electric blue irises and pupils. He has four mandibles that make up his mouth and have floppy cheeks. The inside of his cheeks is also covered in teeth.
While on Earth, Luug is disguised as a Welsh Corgi
