Lois Griffin (née Pewterschmidt) is a major character of the adult animated serie Family Guy. She is the wife of Peter Griffin and mother of Meg, Stewie and Chris Griffin, residing in Quahog, Rhode Island.
Like the other members of her family, she was a protagonist at first, but as the show got darker, she changed frequently to become an antagonist in many episodes (or sometimes anti-heroine or anti-villainess).
